Can't select Karthus in Team Builder (Client)

decided I wanted to try out Karthus, so I bought him with IP and it was deducted from my account. However, I can't select him in the select window in Team Builder, he just simply isn't there. My champion collection shows I have him but I can't seem to pick him anywhere else. I also relogged to see if that would help but to no avail.
