Game bugs out before loading screen

I was in promos game for plat 2 and the game bugged out before the loading screen saying it couldnt start the game and told me to restart my client. The game wasnt found when i relogged in and i did not receive a loss or lost any lp. I was playing normals during the day and it was fine before the game started. when i started ranked it happened so i was wondering if anyone knew how to use the repair tool riot suggested or should i just wait and just play norms until they fix it? thanks!

The repair tool is located in the game launcher under the question mark. However, it's not a real solution. I repaired my client and the game still crashes before a match. Your situation was lucky, one of my matches was remade before I could get back in. I recieved 5, 20 minute waits in low priority, and to get rid of them, I risked the game being unplayable again, eventually getting me banned. I'd suggest not playing at all until it's fixed, unless you're willing to risk leaving a match.
