Tryndamere dies mid-ult [GAMEPLAY BUG]

I was playing Tryndamere and I was in the middle of a 1v2 vs Riven and Lee Sin. I was under turret pressed ult before death (tryndamere screamed) and when I hit Lee Sin I died mid-ult, which is impossible. Think it has something to do with gromp smite buff or maybe just a general bug with Tryndamere himself. I ended up losing the game afterwards because Riven snowballed off of that kill. Would like to see this problem resolved.
