Sett's q does less damage to monsters than just autoattacking

when you use q with sett vs a monster the q seems to remove on hit affects like titanic hydras damage, and his passive dmg aswell, as i was doing ~400 damage a swing + passive next swing then only 315x2 vs blue buff when i used the q.
