Can't select/change runes in lobby (Nexus Blitz)

I've been playing all day and I get into another Nexus Blitz lobby only to find that the rune selection/editing tab has dissapeared on the client. When I got into the game it just auto selected my last edited rune page. This has only just happened to me, I have never experienced this bug before. Any one know the probability or cause of this issue?
