Bard W wont self-cast?

I was playing as bard and notice my W wouldnt self-cast, but everyone else that has a self cast ability that I use the hot-key for works..ie lee sin, galio, karma.

Is this a bug or what rito?

It's supposed to be a location-targeted spell, not a unit-targeted spell.

I've gotten very used to being able to self cast his W. I hope they revert this change.
