Towoku2 votesJust like some one wrote, pressing right click on LOL icon and pressing "Run as administrator" helped me. when starting client normally had the same problem as others, it wanted to change icons and asked me if it should "run as administrator" i was pressing yes and it would show this error. so i recomend trying do it like me . Cheers

@Riot devs: why are you using 8dot3names? Some clients (some filesystems) do net even support that, because the os disables it?
Protherius1 votessame problem here. I think the problem is that we all dont have the usual C:\ as our LoL folder. (I have D:\Riot...so on). Please fix that Rito. thanks
