Massive lag spike in ARAM and an error message on log-in

[Gameplay] [Client] I got a message upon logging in saying, "We noticed your system may have a hard time running the client. We've turned off some of the bells and whistles to ensure the best possible experience. Click 'Ok' to accept these changes or 'Revert changes' to revert them." The only issues I am having are in game, and those have only been occurring for the past couple of days. I am having instances of major lag (similar to 3000-4000 ping), even though the counter in the corner sits around 100 ping. I have only been playing on ARAM, so I'm not sure if this occurs on other maps, but I haven't seen a discussion about it on the boards, even though other players have been encountering the same issue. I don't want to select one choice or the other until I know how that will change things, and until I do I can't use the bug reporting feature on the client.
