[Client] Champ select screen will freeze

This has to happen about 3/10 since updating to the latest patch. The client will freeze; However, I am still able to hear champ select music, champs being picked/banned, and I can click on different parts of my profile to change them. The screen itself is frozen, so I can't actually lock in a champ or choose runes/masteries properly, but the client will freeze in such an odd manor that its weird. I've never had this happen before this patch. I am playing on a mac in low spec mode and on the new client.
