Clicking next to minimap acts as if you are clicking on it

I adc most of the time and while i'm kiting i press close to the top corner of the minimap, but it reacts as if i'm clicking to walk to their nexus, which is not the case. This causes me to walk into the enemy team instead of running away and usuallly die. I usually play with the minimap on my left side. I'm curious if this happens to anybody else, because this loses me games.
