Pick/ ban freezing in new champ select

I wrote a ticket and the rioter asked me to post my problem on the support forums so here it is:

For some reason during pick/ban phase my client consistently freezes. The problem only appeared today. So far I have tried to run a repair and a reinstall, but nothing worked. I don't know what to do to fix it. My internet is perfectly fine. The one game I managed to get through champ select was perfectly fine. That 1 game was after the reinstall and it went through champ select ok. I thought it was fixed, but another game got dodged right after. That was 3 ranked games I got kicked out of today :/

I have had a minor problem since the new champ select was introduced where I would have to spam click the lock in button to select my champion or ban. That was a minor nuisance, but somethig I could deal with. Now I am completely unable to play ranked mode.

Now the problem: The timer on pick/ban will run down to 0 and hang there for awhile before anything happens. Sometimes it hangs so long I suddenly get 3-4 picks/bans come through at the same time. This has happened in 3 of my last 4 champion selects causing me to dodge.

I will also see in chat that the other 4 players have disconnected from champ select, but I am still in there unable to do anything but wait for the game to decide it is my turn to ban/pick. Once it decides its my turn I am able to select champions and press the "lock in" button, but nothing happens. Eventually the time will run down to 0 and some time after that it displays a connection error message.

I can deal with now being -26 lp because of the dodges; I just want to be able to play ranked again.
