[GAMEPLAY] Control Wards show 0/0 even if one is placed for MONTHS now
What I'm talking about is that when you have a control ward placed, and want to place another one somewhere else, when you mouse over it in your inventory if will say you have 0/0 control wards placed instead of 0/1 or 1/1. You have to click on your control ward and mouse over it as if you're placing it to see the cursor showing a 0 or a 1, depending on whether or not you have a control ward out. (Or you can mouse over your control ward and look at the minimap and search for an X if you DO have a control ward placed, indicating that one will be replaced.)
Going to test this more in practice mode, I found out the following, documented in this album.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Load into a game, purchase a control ward, icon will say 0/0 placed. 2. Place a control ward, buy another, icon will say 1/1. 3. Purchase another control ward, tooltip will update and once again say 0/0. This occurs if you buy more than 1 control ward at once.
The intended behavior is that if you have a control ward placed, the tooltip should say 1/1. If you don't have one placed, it should say 0/1.
This is extremely frustrating as this has been happening for months now, especially for anyone who plays support. This is especially annoying for me because I prioritize vision A LOT and buy multiple control wards on backs. This affects gameplay because it means that I have to check and see if there is another control ward already out on the map before I replace one rather than just knowing by the tooltip. The cursor also doesn't appear if you don't click on the icon in the items bar, which many people don't do since they smartcast the wards - me being one of them.
Please save the frustration of us support mains (even though you all should buy control wards...)
