Weird bug in champ select

Alright so this has happened to me twice now and forced me to dodge, so I thought I'd throw it up here and see if anyone else knows anything about it.

So I played a game and lost, no big deal. So I hop into another queue and get into champ select, as I'm picking my champ I get a "Reconnecting to League" message with the option to "exit instead." My timer is still ticking down in the background and it won't let me pick a champ. so just as I'm about to dodge I hit "exit instead" The client minimizes and all of a sudden I am at the Defeat screen from the end of last game. Ezreal and Veigar are there dancing next to my nexus as my team cowers in the fountain. Again this happened to me twice

Am I doomed to relive my past failures for all eternity? Am I the urgot of League of Legends? Only time will tell, and I got a whole bunch of time thanks to dodge penalties.
