Unable to target enemy minions or towers

About 38 mins in and after my fourth death in draft norms I was unable to target anything except for enemy champions and was only able to damage minions was with attacks that do not require a right click target. Was able to target enemy champions though strangely enough. I was playing as gnar. Have you experienced something similar?

Did you hit toggle champion attack only?

I highly doubt it seeing as I have no idea what that is or how to find it, i was just playing the game like normal.
