CLIENT Champ Select Freeze

In champion select I was second pick for my team and choose Varus. Champion portrait was highlighted and appeared in my choice. Lock in was greyed out as if I already hit it, but no action took place. This happened with about 10 seconds left of my count down. Once countdown hit zero, and error message arrived. "unable to select champion, please try again." and then I was kicked out and punished by leaver buster and kicked out of my series. My internet connection was not interrupted, atleast as far as I could tell, no other software had a DC. Thank you.
