The animation occurs only in front of lux so idk why it should hit when your standing right behind her. I went into a custom game and tried it out more and sure enough it hits when your standing right behind her and she fires it in the opposite direction.
Actually as a Lux main , that's how it is , it's not a bug , he was standing in the ult range It might not seem fair for you but check the Indicator
That is not a bug, that is a fckd up hit box... Go into practice tool, check out the range of it.
The far end length is a little long, yes, but there is no problem with the near end. When you hold down Lux's R to see the hit box...it is a LONG (and relatively wide (compared to the precast indicator)) rectangle that starts in the CENTER of her avatar. If a corner of that rectangle is touching your avatar, you get hit. SO, this means that if you are standing next to her (NOT 180 degrees behind her...go test it), you are most likely getting hit.
even if the hitbox is ''correct'' it still doesn't seem fair, visually he shouldn't have been hit by lux's ult
