not sure if it's a bug

I played a game as Yorick top lane against a Quinn. Several times when I tried to cast a red ghoul on her she would knock me back during the animation. When that happened my ghoul would summon(if that's the right word) right next to me not on her and not damaging her. The confused ghoul would stand next to me for a split second then chase after her. Needless to say this did not feel like a fair exchange as I did not life steal or damage her. But maybe that is how that is supposed to play out. I just figured I could see it interrupting my ghoul and the "spell" not casting, but this (the aforementioned "miss" summon)seemed like an odd way to handle said situation. Sorry if I'm wasting your time.
