Hey Riot Games, the question I have is that why do I have a bronze border if I hit silver before the ranked season deadline?

I took a look for shits and giggles because I was worried, turns out the rewards just haven't been given yet. As an example, a friend of mine has a Diamond profile banner and border despite finishing in Platinum this year.
