Current Disconnection Errors = Horrible Ping?

Thankfully Riot has quickly taken notice to the connection issues! I'm guessing the horrible ping and spiking is related to that? Played two games this morning, plus a custom, all of which I was stuck from 100s, to 400s and 600s, which was really weird! Iusually have a solid 40ms.
