Sivir spell shield not blocking full syndra ult.
it blocks the first 3 from the spell, but any individual balls syndra summoned still do damage. is this intentional?

You should have only been able to block the 1st one. But any multi hit spell like that will laugh at 
spell shield and 
's spell shield.
Each individual orb counts as a separate spell. The only reason the spellshield blocks more than one ball is that spellshields will block multiple spells if they occur in an extremely short duration.
It's intentional.
Fun tip: if you build 
, each orb will apply the bonus damage.
Actually, now I'm curious. Does anyone know if Luden's Echo will gain stacks for each individual orb in Syndra's ultimate? I assume it doesn't since it's a single cast, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it count them.
