[Gameplay] Maokai E goes in CD but doesnt do anything when you perform your empowered autoattack

I was jungling and fighting wolves, when i casted my sapling toss meanwhile my empowered autoattack i heard the sound effect of the E, the WEEEEEE thing, but nothing happened and the ability was in cd.

1 Cast E 2 Meanwhile do empowered autoattack 3 the sapling disappear
