SSD 100% and system hangs when updating

Whenever the game updates my PC becomes unresponsive. It takes 1min to launch Task Manager just to see 60-200mb/s disk usage. You can't do anything until the "Play" button appears. Had the same problem on 3 different machines with different SSDs (2 laptops). I don't understand how an update can push SSD so hard that the system stops responding. It is definitely killing the SSD faster with constant writing. P.S. SSDs don't have any BAD or slow sectors, one of them is like 1 month old. And system specs are also quite good (i5-7500/gtx1060)
