Vi's Q Becomes Disabled

I was playing an average game of Vi top, no issues occurring yet. For the first half of the game I was able to use my Q normally and to my heart's content. But then at one point I was charging up my q and then the enemy Blitzcrank knocked my up and reset my Q cast. This seemed normal at first because when their enemy Lissandra snared me during my Q charge-up, the spell reset on a 3 second cooldown and I could cast it again later. This time, I tried to Q but it didn't work and I assumed it was my keyboard not working. But then in chat I was able to type Q with no problem. Smartcasting Q didn't work so I tried the ancient way of pressing the icon to try and cast my spell but that failed as well. I am unsure of other knockups would also cause this problem but getting knockedup again didn't fix the problem.
