Can someone explain this AP calculation?

So, I was waiting for a friend to finish their game so we could play together, so I entered the Practice Tool as Trundle and started "troll"ing around. At one point, I bought 6 Rabadon's to find that the AP didn't exceed 1000 (900 something, don't remember). However, I exchanged one of the Rabadon's for a Nashor's, and it suddenly exceeded 1k. How did that happen, given that Rabadon's gives more AP than Nashor's and thus should grant me more AP?

the death cap passive is unique ... so you got six of them all being 120 ap =720 + 35% ap ( passives that are unique dont stack ) 252=972total ap item 3115 has 80 ap + 5 death caps =600 +35% ap 680*35%=total ap 918
