I got lower priority queue for 5 games because of something I cannot control.

I was loading into a game and my screen froze and went to my desktop after a couple seconds. Then I got bugsplat notices over and over! I got so many that it CRASHED my computer. I log back on and then it wouldn't let me connect to the game again and I got the bugsplat notice again. Eventually, after 5 times of trying to recconect, my game loaded in and my team was just about to finish of the nexus. In the end game screen I get a pop up saying I was in low priority queue due to me being afk. I HAD NO CONTROL OVER THIS. Why am I being punished?
