Friend enters Queue multiple times while I am AFK, I have to wait to join Queue

I go AFK to use the bathroom while my friend was AFK to smoke, we were both in lobby & he was party leader. I come back to multiple warnings about not joining queue unless I am ready to play or I will be possibly banned. I tell him I am back and when he clicks play, I can't join queue for 14 minutes, this gives me a headache. It's not even my fault and I get the penalty, I couldn't even attempt to join the queue if I wanted to, seeing as he was the party leader yet I am the one getting punished? So, with this information, it can either be fixed or we will see an increase of friends "trolling" their friends who go AFK in a lobby by potentially getting them banned and forcing them to wait through penalty timers. This isn't fair and it doesn't help the players or the community.
