Tower Bug and Odd Ring

In the first screenshot it shows that a tower appears to still be alive when I was fighting, and thus I ran it under it to survive but it didn't attack. I guess it had died but appeared to stay there? I don't know if I'm just missing something as I am still relatively new. In the second, after I ALT + F4'd for something and immediately reconnected, I had a big red ring around me which didn't disappear. Wasn't sure what this was either. If someone could explain that would be very helpful - again I apologise if I've made a mistake, I am relatively new.
