Stuck in daily pick

I played a game and got the option of my daily pick after where I could chose a champion to play for the day but when I try to select one the option dispersal. When I hover my house over a champion the option to view abilities or select comes up but when I move my mouse off the name of the champion and up to the select both the options go away. I'm new to the game so I don't know that to do here and I am stuck. I have tried reloading the game and redownloading the game but they took me back to the daily pick daily pick. Yes I am clicking on the champion. I have even tried pressing ever possible key on my keyboard and nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
