In the past several games I've played, Jax's W will auto but then the next normal auto doesnt start again until 2 seconds later unless you click target again. 100% replicable on jungle minions.

i knew it, i thought i was going crazy, this is the same bug as when you use titanic hydra active, it delays the next autoattack, this need to be fixed sometimes jax would just stop in front of the enemy champ and not do the W at all. his W is broken right now.
edit: apparently it does it too for others empowered auto attack spell like nasus q
