ok i can log in but very bad news i join a game we all pick our champ but loading screen pop up and would not connect
so i got a lost and now i got punished and have to wait 20 minute to queue up for game (4 times 20 minutes each)
does anyone live in Texas?
I also live in San Antonio, Tx and I just ran into the same problem. I too am having issues logging on. I was playing fine yesterday or the day before.
and still not fixed. this is obviously a networking issue that needs resolved between the client "Riot" and the ISP "TWC" in Texas.
so it let me log in but it won't let me connect to my game

they have fixed the problem, go back to playing league of legends guys.

I'm having same issue...I am also a texas time warner customer. I have ports forwarded, everything disabled (firewalls, using manual ipv4 DNS, etc.), internet explorer not offline and security opened up.
So frustrating given I dealt with this a few months ago and had to go through every single step to fix it. I eventually did, and my computer is still configured exactly the same. I tried flushing DNS and RE INSTALLING the stupid client. FUCK TIME WARNER. Please someone help us, call time warner and complain for hours. I have a job I can't at the moment. LOL
I'm ready to call some support numbers to get this fixed. I'm in Texas and I would like to do something about this. Please write a number, or someone I can speak to. I will be on the phone with them if you can point a way for me. Yes, I have TWC, but I dont know if calling TWC and saying "Why wont the league of legend server connect " is going to do anything
in the trace route the hop is stopping at tbone.rr.com meaning that twc or riot is having some sort of issue routing their dns. have changed my dns to google and am having the same issue.
Yeah WTFast allows it to work, but no chat servers
i dont know if im the only one but i had problems with league way before it stopped letting me log in. first i was seeing a bunch of my champions repeating when ur looking at them in champ select. i saw zed three times, where veigar was supposed to be and where twitch was supposed to be. i also saw wukong but he wasnt wukong he was MonkeyKing. in loading screen it read MonkeyKing too. only when i entered the game was it wukong again. then league started glitching so i closed and i never was able to login again after that. this was 3 days ago so... yeaaaaa :(

I encountered this problem a while ago as well. Try changing your DNS. Follow the instructions on this website: https://www.opendns.com/
Had the same problem the other day, I just finished the low priority queue ._.
Update your graphics drivers, worked for me.
I just switched to Windows 10, and it didn't do that for me; so connected to the game took minutes after it had started, and when I got in I was running at 5 fps.
was there anything u guys did before your league client started working because mine still isnt

I too live in San Antonion and I use Time Warner. I have been been having this problem around 2:00AM now when I do join a game my client just gives me an error of not being able to connect to the servers. (I was playing rank when this happened. So gg that game).
I completely hate TWC because ever since I got it I've been lagging like crazy but I managed however now I cant even play league. Hey TWC get your head in the game and out your butts. 
I live near DFW and it works now :D
I finally connected to the game after 10 minutes of hitting reconnect. Afraid to try another though.
