Unable to Open League Launcher

I tried playing League today and I clicked the app and waited for the launcher to load. I had noticed it was taking particularly longer than normal and the League Launcher Icon appeared on my dashboard [I'm a Mac user]. So I attempted to open again, clicked yes terminate the alternate instance running. Same result "Invisible Launcher Screen". Thus, restarted my computer tried again. No avail. Googled hot fixes, eventually reinstalled the program. Same result. Deleted program again, restarted computer, redownloaded/installed again. Still nothing. Not sure what to do here. Please advise.
