Game Crashed At 3 hours? [GAMEPLAY]

Hello everyone!

A few friends of mine, and I decided to play League, and it turned out to be a near 3 hour game. We made it to an astounding 2 hours and 55 minutes, and right at that point, everyone in the game got disconnected. Everyone had a "Trying to reconnect." at the top of their screen. Of course, I waited 5 minutes before disconnecting so I could take video of it for the tiny bit of fame for the people at our school who play League.

The main concern of this post, is mainly to see if we could possibly get the replay back from some possible source of Riot. The match never showed in op.gg or our match history on the client itself. We are really concerned that non of us will be able to have this match in our highlights, as we had a lot of fun playing this game. We all made a few friends from the enemy team, and they had told us they would love to have the replay as well to show their friends.

We would also like to figure out if this was a glitch, or if League of Legends has a time limit now on the length that a server can support. We did not see exactly, but most of us believe that the game disconnected us at exactly at 2 hours and 55 minutes.

If anyone in the community, and/or Riot themselves could put some closure on this subject, and possibly get the replay back, that would be amazing! Thank you for creating this awesome game that we just invested 3 hours of our Sunday into!

P.S. Gathering storm scaling at 3 hours needs to be nerfed. Veigar did a bit too much damage.

Yikes! Wonder if Riot's client can't handle long games anymore. I know there was a video of a 420 minute game somewhere ... but those are rarities now. Hopefully it at least was fun before it crashed?

Also, regarding that Veigar damage ... I calculated it out.

The Gathering Storm scaling is 8 * (1 per 10 min + 1) * (1 per 10 min) / 2. Since Gathering Storm only procs every 10 minutes, that means at 2 hours and 50 min, Veigar got his most recent stack. That's 170 minutes, so ... 8 * 18 * 17 / 2 = 1224 AP.

Good thing I wasn't there. That is not a Veigar you want to fight.

Here is a picture if the video does not work for some reason. Sorry for the terrible quality.

There is a reason I doesn't work. You put way too many wards on the map, the client couldn't handle it.
