Can't use the windows key while in game. If I don't have another window up, like my browser or something, there is no possible way to use my computer. Even turning on windowed mode the mouse cursor is stuck within the borders of the window so I can't actually click on anything outside of it.
If you have a gaming keyboard with a "gaming mode", your windows key might be disabled and you may need to switch to some keyboard configuration where the windows key is enabled.
You can press alt+tab to switch to another window. Depending on your visual effects settings or theme in windows, alt+tab can also allow you to switch to your desktop instead of any specific window.
You can press F9 to unlock your mouse from the game which allows you to click outside of the game window. A red border will appear around your game when the mouse is unlocked.
