Legends of Runeterra Error Code 170000

I downloaded this game and my account was activated. I run the game and I immediately get this error message. I am unable to click on anything, including changing regions. It's just this error code, period. Why isn't the game working when it's being advertised on the LOL client?

yeah today in canada <----(in case VPN issue). i was playing for a bit then this error code popped up not cant logg on for an hour. item 3073 item 3070
