(Ranked only) Click to ban not working?

So every now and again (today will be the 4th time since the patch), it will get to be my turn to ban. I select a champion and it takes a good 5 seconds for it to register that I selected to ban a champion. As time winds down, clicking Ban does nothing, only the sound effect and particles go off. Time goes down and then everyone gets kicked and I lose LP and get a time penalty. I've only experienced this in ranked. I can't be the only one.
