Black Screen at game launch

After the champ select, when the game loads, instead of a loading screen I get an endless black screen. Apparently, I didn't even connect to the game and got a leaver penalty for a game that was remade because of me.

On the PBE status page it is mentioned that there is a problem with game launch on the Mac client. I hoped this wasn't the case on the normal league client for Mac as there are no warnings on the NA status page.

On the PBE client I clearly get a message that the game was unable to launch but on the normal client it's just a black screen.

PS I'm using a Mac ( don't flame pls lol )

PPS The game used to launch as of yesterday ( with FPS drops of which you are aware )
