Lost my 3rd promos and 10 lp because I dced in champ select?
Is that a real thing? I lose that over something i cant control? It just happened and I was completely ignorant to this.

Well, yeah, to play League you need a reliable setup. Sure it isn't your control, but it's also not in the control of your teammates. the ones who'll likely suffer.
There's no way to distinguish between dc'ing in champ select and just dodging the champ select. Either one counts as a loss in promo series and has for quite a while.
Not that i have a problem with the distinguishing of a dc or dodge but that blows thanks for the intel.
