Long loading screens and Hotkey issues.

I'll keep it simple..... Problem #1 i load into a game, press P to open the store. Does not work. i can gain my lvl 1 skill by pressing Alt Q, but pressing q will not activate skill. Usually i could fix this problem with a quick reconnect. This is where problem #2 starts. It takes 3-5 minutes for my client to load in so i can simply press RECONNECT. causing me frustration plus 9 others ranting because they have to find a new game. i have gotten a low priority queue because of this for 5 games. is there any solution to at least the hotkeys issues that i can find, that isn't 3+ years old.
