MacOS High Sierra 10.13.4 won't run League of Legends

When I open league of legends, after champion select, I get into loading screen (which is completely black) where an error message pops, reading:

"App is not optimised for your Mac, This app needs to be updated by its developer to improve compatibility"

Last night I could play league without a problem, after an auto-update, I couldn't.

Any ideas what I can do, or is it in you guy's hands to patch it for the MacOS clients? Is it high on the priority list of work to ensure that players are actually able to play the game regardless of what system they play on?

Riot could could give two shits about mac users. High Sierra literally wont run the game without crashes. super disappointing and as a player for over 5 years it sucks to say I will have to stop playing this game.

is there going to be a fix?

this is the exact same problem I'm having. Big splats in nearly every single game since the "update" to 10.13.4.

It was running flawlessly before. Wish I'd seen this and not updated.
