Keyboard Issues?

I have this strange problem where whenever I enter the game, I am not able to use my keyboard for abilities, summoner spells, etc etc. However, I am able to type in the chat box. Because of this, I have to task manager and force close league, and restart the client. What's worse, is that right now there is login issues when attempting to log in. And I am one of those that is affected by this. Thus, I keep having to not be in the games I come into. I've left teammates twice just today because of this and it's a burden.
