Haven't been able to ban in ranked
As i said, in the last ranked room I entered I had the second ban and I could not ban the champion i wanted and as you can imagine i was dc'ed from the party.

I just had a similar thing happen to me, except I was first ban and it was unranked. I could type in chat and select different champions to ban, but could not click the ban button.
