New AFK System is Broken and Crap

So I just had a game where I was forced to DC and after a few moments of the initial raging and fire breathing and cursing the RIOT Gods I smashed that Retry button and after I say about 12 tries, I made it back in. I made it back to see three inhibs down and the enemy pouring through the gates like the Flood from Halo. Course I used that Gold I gathered being AFK. Bought what I needed to and fought them back with my team that welcomed me back with varying emotions, most bordering on irritation and salvation. I was Jungle WW. So after making a few choice plays and stealing baron and preventing a few poorly timed backdoors and through pure luck we won the game. And for some reason after getting to the After Match stats, I got a notification that severely irked me. Apparently due to my AFK behavior I was given 5 low priority ques. Now yes I understand that being AFK and leaving my team to suffer more burdens is punishment worthy, but what I fail to see is why the fuck should I have to go through low ques when I came back and helped my team win. I even got Honored for Teamwork and here I am, being punished for coming back to a game to repent my sin. If I DC why should I even bother coming back if even whether I win or lose, I get low ques? I don't know whether this is a bug or an actual rule. if a bug, I ask that my low ques get revoked or at the very least an apology be made to me and others who've suffered as I have. If this is an actual thing, well Riot, I really hope that you see the error of your ways because In my personal opinion, This is completely and utterly counter productive to prevent AFKs. Why would someone bother returning to a game when they DC because of technical difficulties or your faulty patches when either way they get the short end of the stick.
