Unexpected Platform on Masteries

So, Yeah, its stupid. Randomly, like it could happen anywhere, any time, any game session or mode, but it's a rare occurrence where I can't select, create, or adjust my masteries, and by default throws me into that game session with 0/0/0 masteries, and some of these fateful times have been ranked, and very upsetting.
