Ashe Q with Runaan's possible bug/issue [GAMEPLAY]

Hello,

I was testing out Ashe on the practice mode using dummies to check her DPS with certain item combinations, and I noticed that when you build Runaan's Hurricane on Ashe, and then use her Q to attack multiple enemies, if they are close enough she will attack a 4th or more target. It only worked when I had her Q activated at full stacks and was holding Runaan's Hurricane in her item set. I thought I was mistaken at first, but then I repositioned the enemy dummies and tried again and it worked the same way, when you activate Q and attack more than 3 enemies positioned close enough together. I then respositioned the dummies near the rift scuttle, and tried it again, and as it walked between the target dummies, my extra bolts exceeded the 2 bolts Runaan's provides. I was able to hit a 4th target, and if the scuttle walked close enough, a 5th target, (so all 4 dummies + the rift scuttle) with extra Runaan bolts with the Q flurry. It only worked when my Ashe Q was active, and I had Runaan's Hurricane in my item set and didn't work any other time. Other items didn't appear to influence this activity. When I took the runaan's away, her Q ability only hit 1 target like it was supposed to.

I don't know if this has happened in norms or ranked modes, or any mode outside of the practice/dummy mode.

Thank you for reading.

I want to say the Runaan's targetting is random and it looked like it picked up a 4th target at random between the 2nd and 4th? Was the DPS the same or did it fluctuate between certain targets? Because if it fluctuated then it just picked targets at random to hit.

I ran another practice tool session to double check, and it didn't randomize its targeting. If i stood still, the DPS increased at the same rate alongside the main AA target and the secondary targets, although at a lesser amount. It would show the damage and DPS numbers at the base (legs?) of the dummy that was a 4th one, and also all 4 of the dummies were being struck at the same time, and if you watch closely you can see the bolts flying in concert with the other 3 targets to hit all 4 targets.

I also re-tested it in the river near the rift scuttle again, and when the rift scuttle would walk by, my Q flurry with Runaan's would proc onto the scuttle as well, despite already hitting 2 secondary targets like it is supposed to max out on. If it walked between the dummies and not around the edge of them, it would be included in the targeting, and the Runaan's Q flurry bolts would hit 5 targets total instead of 3.

Now if I walked away in a direction that was further away from a target, then it wouldn't pick up the target, but that was just because it was out of range. So it still looks like it obeys the max AA range, but when you're close enough and the target dummies are stacked close enough it will hit that 4th target.

This interaction with Ashe's Q has been around for literally years. and i dont think its a bug either, or at least not an unintentional one. i think its meant to be there, cause its quite healthy for her to have a item power spike or so given her kit is super basic. gives her utility. makes her do something no other AD champion does with it.

i've got mastery 7 (means nothing but still) on ashe, and shes basic but so lovely to play. but for as long as i've played her, that interaction has been around.

I love Ashe (also got Mastery 7), she was my first champion i owned, from back in 2014 before her rework.

I just posted this because it seemed like a bug that, if people knew about it, they would exploit it if it hasn't already been addressed.

As much as I love Ashe, it seems appropriate to inform them about a potential bug, since if Ashe might have it, then other champions might have it as well, and the last thing we need are ADC champs with excessive damage getting more free damage due to a faulty item exploit/bug/issue.

Ashe is <3

I think it is supposed to be intentional. cause her Q replaces her basic attack with a rapid fire attack.
