I played a normal blind game earlier today supporting a lucian as braum bot lane. The enemy jungler was a Warwick and on two seperate times during the game, I ulted WW once he ulted my adc. Both times, he was popped up during ult but the claw swiping animation continued on lucian as well as the dmg. Anyone else notice this?
The only thing you stopped was the suppression that his ult puts on his target. The swipe is separate from the CC.
WW's ult can't be stopped, you can only recover from the suppress but the damage will go on and WW will remain unable to move for the full duration no matter what.
Warwick ult more or less applies a damage-over-time that ticks 5 times and applies on-hit effects with each tick. You can interrupt or cleanse the suppression, but the damage will happen regardless.
