PBE and live server patcher mix up [issue unresolved]

I am encountering an huge issue i would like fixed asap. when trying to start my live server patcher the lol kernel opens up loads but then opens my pbe patcher not the live one. i've tried restarting my computer but unfortunately i am still unable to get to the live patcher. I am not sure why this is occurring but to keep it from happening again once the problem is fixed is it possible to have a way to only open one patcher and swap between the PBE and live servers. Currently i will only be playing on the pbe due to this issue and if you wish to contact me through there my summoner name on the pbe is Sa the Dragon. please contact me asap on this issue if possible.
