PVP.net Patcher Kernel stopped working

whenever i try to open league this shows up "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." and i am forced to close the program. i tried uninstalling and re installing but that didn't work. please help.

never mind i found the solution: to anyone else that is having the problem; right click league on desktop>properties>compatibility>change to run with whatever window you are running and run as admin>
