Recieving full cd refund on pyke ult and gold reward

Just now i played a game as pyke. during a fight i triggered my ult on a low health enemy, but died before damage coul apply.

It is my understanding that not recieving the kill still grants the 20 sec reset if enemy dies in the x, but in this situation my ult was fully refunded, and i still got the "my cut" reward.

Just a little heads up for future reffrence.
