Kicked from Lobby during champ select, counted as a dodge and gave my 2nd (15 min) dodge penalty

As stated, I was editing my runepage (going from the precision runepage to domination, if it matters) and was suddenly kicked from the lobby with a helpful message in the top right stating I'd left the lobby.

I now have a 15 minute wait time, so I figured I'd write up a report about it.

I wasn't doing anything else odd at the time, we were in pick phase and I hadn't selected my champ yet.

Hope this isn't something common, be happy to answer any additional questions if I missed anything in particular.

Wait... so at what point were you in during champ select? If you were doing your rune page and you didn't ban a champ then that counts as a dodge. If you didn't lock in a champ then it counts as a dodge. So my question to you is where were you at in the process?

It was during the enemy pick, bans were over with, it hadn't cycled to me yet.

I am aware of the whole not picking counting as a dodge, hasn't happened to me before. I suppose its possible that is what happened, though it's unlikely as I wasn't doing anything other than waiting in the lobby for my turn to pick (no reddit, etc).

edit: from what I can remember, when your pick is about to expire it plays a scary countdown noise in the last few seconds, to boot. I definitely wouldn't have missed that, and I have client volume on.

Alright, sometimes stuff like that happens to me. I'll lock in my champ then randomly the lobby ends and told me I left the lobby. Or sometimes even now the client will countdown for the game to begin and will crash then telling me I left lobby. Stuff like that gets me a 5 minute block. So you are not alone in this. Best thing you can do is report the bug and/or submit a ticket to get it looked at but generally the instructions Riot will give won't help much. Good Luck.
