OOPS, This phone number appears to be innvalid.!!!

So this is my first time making a team for clash and when i reach the part to Confirm SMS.. I scroll down the drop down box, choose my country which is Jamaica btw and enter my personal number i use everyday to text and make calls. I enter the number in the second box (XXX) XXX -XXXX and it always gives me that same error. I even tried using my families number and the same thing happened.. HELP!!!
